The undergird of all dis-trust, a learning process that begins the

moment an infant is born, is expressed as "You Were Not There For Me !"

The infant arrives with implicit expectations and immediately begins

to learn that its expectations run a very distant second to The World's

expectations of it...

It spends its life trying to meet those expectations of others...

Peeling back the emotional layers (defenses) always meets "You Were

Not There For Me !"

Fundamentally, no therapy succeeds if Trust is not established...
